The large and beautiful, listed Edwardian drawing room is an elegant setting for a wedding reception. Four enormous windows overlook the south lawn and a further French window gives direct access to the gardens and the church. The drawing room can hold up to 120 guests.
We are also delighted to offer the dining room for couples wanting to have a wedding banquet. 80 guests can be seated on round tables within the room itself whilst a further 60 can be accommodated in a small marquee attached to the house and accessed directly from the dining room through two French windows.
For a larger reception, a marquee can be set up on the south lawn in front of the house; here there is space for up to 500 guests.
For couples looking for a rural reception, there is a romantic lakeside setting at Dauntsey. The picturesque lake has a tiny island which can be accessed by a small bridge, providing a delightful setting for a wedding photograph. The park in front of the house is suitable for a larger gathering and has a stunning aspect looking towards the river and house.
